Studio Alume is carrying the legacy of St John Lamps and 40 years of lighting design. We are proudly based in Perth, WA creating handmade lighting solutions driven by care and intention. Studio Alume brings concepts to life collaborating with our in-house team of artisans, designers, and experts.
Our machinist and textile artists have more than 20 years experience. Each team member plays a major role during the design process, working in conjunction with our designers and electrical engineers.
We create unique designs with hand sculpted shapes and materials, hence subtle variations are to be expected.
We take good care to work with our team of specialists who are involved from day 1, from designing the form to choosing the fabric, or shaping the metal and making the whole structurally beautiful and safe.
